Tips On How To Prevent Acne – In Your Everyday Life

This Is For Everyone

Even though this is Mensfacialhelp.com doesn’t mean it’s not for everybody who needs facial care needs! Ladies your period isn’t the only thing causing your acne! For the men also!

There’s not just one thing causing you to breakout a lot of the time. Usually it can be numerous things!! There are reasons in our everyday life simple basic things that can cause acne that you didn’t even know about!

Trust me some of these reasons for your face breaking out you’ll be surprised, but have done or came across them in everyday life. Let’s take a look into tips on how to prevent acne.

Bacteria, Oil, Hair Follicles?

There are many reasons you can be breaking out. Lots of things play big roles in how well your face is, and how often pimples pop up on your face.

Things like overproduction of oil, and blocked hair follicles that don’t allow the oil to leave the pore. Which can cause a clogged pore and the growth of bacteria inside the hair follicles.

With certain factors in set and genetics, they play a huge role in how your body reacts to different hormones in your body that can cause acne.

Yes for our acne prone people there are more patterns daily that can cause more massive breakouts. So Let’s see some very unique ways you could be breaking out and don’t know it!

Is It Genetics Or My Fault?

Some people wonder is it genetics so is it possible I can’t control it? Is there things that I am doing as a reason that I cannot get a full clear face?

You could be OVER USING over the counter treatments. Like I talked about before Benzoyl Peroxide is the best acne product known to man with the recommended dosage. If you over use this product it’s so strong the treatment can dry out your skin causing it to produce more oil. So with this amazing product be smart!

Don’t wash your face three times a day and you’ll never have an issue. You’re eating to many spicy foods!! Spicy foods contain peppers which contain acidic lycopene that can be irritant to some people, throwing off their skin’s pH levels and triggering breakouts. You’re scrubbing your skin roughly. Lots of people with acne think the more your scrub or with exfoliants or cleaning brushes the less acne and smoother your skin will be.

Truth is it will get worse when you scrub hard or use something with exfoliates that’s to rough, it will blemish the bacteria and gets spread across the skin! These are just a few ways you could be contributing to your acne. Let’s dive in to see if your breaking out from things you are doing in your everyday life.

Are You Breaking Out From Your Everyday Life?

What could I possibly be doing except increasing my sugar intake and not keeping my face clean to cause acne in my everyday life? Well there are thousands of things Let’s just go through a couple. For the ladies you can be kissing your boyfriend a lot and he has a beard! Sounds wild right? Well as you two kiss depending on how often your smooth face rubs against his hairy one creating friction, which causes his small hairs to stimulate oil production on your face.

Sounds odd right? Sadly enough these are all backed up by studies and when you think about it truly makes sense. Smoking is a big one as well, every time you smoke a cigarette you decrease the amount of oxygen that goes to your face. The carcinogens in the smoke irritates your skin dries it out triggering your skin to produce more oil and most likely future breakouts.

Also, a big one!! Stop picking at your pimples! When you try to press the puss out or squeeze you run the risk of pushing bacteria deeper or spreading it around and underneath your skin multiplying your pimples!! A BIG NO NO!!!!!!!

So Jamaar you ask….. these are everyday things what can I do to ensure these things won’t affect my face?

What Can I Do Differently

Well it’s just like I said in my last post it’s sorta a right from wrong thing. Some of it is very unique for sure in fact. A lot of it is common sense you should have a better understanding of why and how your face can be negatively impacted.
  • Benzoyl Peroxide = Don’t over use!!’
  • Spicy Foods = Take a break from spicy foods if your skin is irritated by a certain ingredient.
  • Face Pickers = Try to minimize how much you touch you face so less bacteria can be transferred.

Man, I wish I read this article sooner, like 6 months ago! I have saved myself a great deal of cash, I have been using Benzac over 4 times a day!
Your article is definitely a keeper and its one that can possibly give dermatologist a run for their money!
    Thanks for all the help

Oh my gosh, I never thought about my boyfriend’s facial hair as a potential cause for my acne break outs!! This post was very informative and fun to read. Thanks for sharing all this info about how to prevent acne.

Where was this article when I was in high school haha? Well, at least I can help my cousins who are going through puberty. I always thought personal hygiene makes a huge difference. Guess it’s true! I will definitely share this with my cousins, thanks!

Just when you think you know how it all works, someone who takes the time to do the research comes along and throws you a lifeline. Well done, good information. You touched on things I had never associated with acne before and now in retrospect, BAM! it makes perfect sense.

    Great ideas noted here.

I am definitely guilty of touching my face too much and it certainly shows.

I didn’t know that spicy food has an effect on acne? Good to know.

    Thanks for the info!

Luckily never had to deal with acne myself, but still suffer bad skin. I have always followed a cleansing routine actually based on one having acne. Have used this routine for years. I will soon be 54 and most people guess my age at late thirties to early 40″s! Thanks for the great suggestions that I think may be worked into my routine.

Great article! Something that really helped me was understanding WHY acne breaks out, so that I could find out HOW to stop it, which you’ve done a really good job of outlining here. Gently washing your face and moisturising sounds simple but it really does work well.

Hello Jamaar, another great article of yours. I used to have acne in the past, but I have got rid of it. I was unaware that cigarette smoke can cause acne, even through I’m a non smoker. And I don’t really wash my face, as I like to prevent this problem. Thanks again, and I hope you continue to work hard!!!

Thank you for this article. It is interesting to hear from a male perspective, of course you aim it at women as well. I hadn’t thought about a couple of the causes that you mention, and I will be looking out for this magical benzoyl peroxide! Thank you!

Great article. Most interesting for me was that over-using these skin care products will result in even worse skin condition! Have you already reviewed some natural or even vegan skin care products? that would be interesting to read, knowing that the vegan community is getting bigger everyday.

    Interesting Post!
I think watching what you eat in general (not only spicy food) can also help a lot. It differs for every person, there are certain foods that just have a negative effect on the skin.
I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing!

    Excellent thoughts!
I am not a woman, though, a lot of men are now concerning about their face, this post can definitely help them including myself. Although, I can hardly get acne.
